TERMS & CONDITIONS:

We urge all buyers to examine the horses that interest them before the sale. However, at the St. Onge Horse Sales, all horses that are ridden through the ring are guaranteed sound until Monday noon following the Saturday sale, unless otherwise stated from the block. What we consider sound is: Sight out of both eyes, good air, hit the ground on all four, and not to crib. No exceptions. Soundness will be judged by salebarn and/or salebarn veterinarian.

Terms of the sale are cash: No Exception. (Personal checks are considered cash). Drivers license or some other form of identification will be required for checks. Letter of credit may be requested.

Registration papers will be withheld by the salebarn until checks clear the bank. If any buyer wishes to obtain registration papers immediately, the horse must be paid for in currency or certified check.

The highest bidder is to be the buyer. If any dispute arises between or among two or more bidders, sole authority to settle the dispute as he sees fit is reserved by the auctioneer and his decision is final. The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

The salebarn and auctioneer, announcer, and employees act as agents only for the sellers, but assume no liability for either buyer or seller.

Every effort has been made to insure correctness in the catalog, and in most cases information quoted concerning the horse is taken from official records. However, salebarn, auctioneer, and announcer will not assume responsibility for error or omissions. Be certain to inspect any horse of interest to your satisfaction before you buy.

Pregnancy status of mares will be announced sale day. From this point on, buyer assumes all risk. Return privileges are not guaranteed, unless settled between buyer and seller.

The right to No Sale the animal is reserved for all sellers, before they leave the sale ring.

Buyers attend the sale at their own risk. St. Onge Livestock and its employees and their consignors will not be held responsible for accidents to horses and people.

All horses will be paid for in American currency or the equivalent thereof. Exchange rates will be charges on foreign currency when necessary.

Any buyer who stops payment on a check will be prosecuted to the full extend of the law.

The commission will be 7% of the selling price. Each consignor has the right to No Sale his or her horse. If the horse is a No Sale, the cost will be the catalog fee plus $35 No Sale fee and must be paid before the horse can leave the sale barn. The catalog fee is nonrefundable. No checks will be mailed out for the horses until Tuesday following the sale. The buyer will pay all transfer fees. No alley trading is allowed!!!
